To access the random link area of the Control Panel, click the "Random Page Links" menu item.
There are two types of random link tags you can use. One is the #randomlink# tag and the other is the #randompage# tag.
To insert a randomly selected link to one of your cloaked pages, use the #randomlink# tag. You can repeat the same #randomlink# URL by using a #randomlinktext# code. Here's an example (code first, then interpreted):
You can also extract the primary keyword from a randomly selected cloaked link by using a #randomlinkkeyword# tag. Another example:
To insert a randomly selected link from a list of URLs that you provide, use the #randompage# tag. The exterior link feature also allows you to specify descriptive text to be used with each link. The descriptive text is accessed with the #randompagelinktext# tag. Here are a couple of examples:
You input your exterior links and link descriptions in the "Random Page Links" menu. There is a textbox on the page where you type the links and the descriptions. Here's the syntax:
First, you type the complete URL of the link. Then, you type two # symbols. Then, you type the text description. The text description must all fit on one line, but feel free to use HTML tags in it.
